Yes, last week we said it was fall. But we were wrong.

We know it’s not technically Fall (the 90+ degree weather proves that), but something about school being back in session makes us feel like it is.

Now, we aren’t saying that we’re going to become cowboys and go on adventures, but like, we might. And after this new music Friday, would you even judge us?

Nothing is as consistent as the love we have for music.

This blog post is full of songs that remind us of summer, but it’s also full of almost gloomy autumnal music. It’s like a “Choose Your Own Adventure” book, but with new releases.

What happens when you add together a pandemic, new releases from new artists (with one of them being a phenomenal local talent), and the rise of the underdog? If you guessed “a really good new music Friday” you’d be right.

We are stoked about these new (to us) artists.

This week’s new releases either remind us of someone we used to know or ARE from someone we used to know. Either way, what bliss.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a garage band or a cowboy or a hipster icon, cool is cool. These releases prove it.
