Vista Kicks at treefort!!
Allison here. This Treefort, I sat down with the band Vista Kicks. With Nolan LeVine on drums, Trevor Sutton on guitar, and Derek Thomas on lead vocals, this group has a rich and dynamic sound that’s impossible to pin down to one genre. We talked about their thrilling new album, Sorry Charlie, and how music has changed for them through the pandemic. Since we are all from Sacramento suburbs, I got to pick their brains on what the transition from a high school band steeped in pre-teen f**kery to rocking major music festival after festival has been like for them. Some other topics include life on the road, touring with the invigorating two-piece girl group the Hail Maries, Treefort, and what it means to be humans on this big blue rock. Big stuff.
Give Sorry Charlie a listen and check out KBGA’s other awesome Treefort content!
