5 years ago today, the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage was legal nationwide. And earlier this month, the Supreme Court affirmed the rights of LGBTQ+ workers to be protected from discrimination. But the LGBTQ+ community still has a lot to fight for. We might not be able to celebrate Pride the “regular” way, but that doesn’t mean we don’t get to celebrate.
