Made by wam is a teeny-tiny handmade business located in the mountains of Missoula, Montana.
Wam (Amber Walker) specializes in Handmade Books, Jewelry, Original Tarot Card Prints, and all things glow-in-the-dark.
Wam is a kooky and zany gal from Toledo, Ohio who has a BFA in Three Dimensional Studies from Bowling Green State University. She is passionate about facilitating creative and constructive expression amongst children and adults and shares her knowledge through teaching various classes in the community. These classes include practices such as Metalsmithing, Bookmaking, Resin Casting, Sculpture, and Various 'Kid Crafts.'
Her art is inspired by dreams, the importance of self-reflection, repurposing materials, bringing light to the world through glow-in-the-dark, and spreading kid-like joy.
Aside from teaching, vending at various markets and fairs, and running her online shop, Wam is currently designing a tarot deck, using block printing as a medium for image making. A full deck is projected to be completed within the next year and a half. A Kickstarter (or alike) campaign will be launched in the Spring of 2019 to fund production for the quirky deck.
