RASHID ABDEL GHAFUR: October Featured Artist
ARTIST BIO
Rashid is the co-owner of IO Society, a collaborative art space located at 801 Sherwood Street here in Missoula. His art has been featured in a dozen first Friday exhibitions and he is the editor of Olghoi Khorkhoi magazine, an abstract art and poetry bi-monthly magazine which recently celebrated the printing of its 40th issue.
Rashid is currently playing live and recording with the bands Zebulon Kosted, Planar Deformation and EYF.
He has been a DJ at KBGA since 2010.
