NICK HAWKSLEY – GENERAL MANGER
email:
gm@kbga.org
phone: 406.243.6758

It all started at a motel 6 in riverside, California. Since then its been nothing but rock and roll. Well, there has been some other stuff too. I’ve been studying business management here at the University of Montana for awhile now and have been involved with KBGA in some fashion since I moved here in 2010.

Its an honor to be in charge of such a great organization. I look forward to the next year, and working with such a great group of people. If you have any questions, comments or concerns don’t hesitate to get ahold of me.

JOHN SAMUEL BROWN – PROGRAM DIRECTOR

phone:
406.243.6758

Some ways you may know me:
1. The trash gremlin that lives in the corner of the KBGA office.
B. The person in charge of programming at KBGA..
III. That guy who keeps bugging you about being a DJ.I’ve hung around here for the last 4-5 years. I know most of the secret passages.

Also, a killer MC.

JUSTIN HAIDER – PROMOTIONS MANAGER

It all started with a 57’ Chevy in the lonely lands of northern Montana.

Who wants to eat fake chicken nuggets with me?  You supply the BBQ sauce.

Welcome yourselves to your new Marketing and Promotions Director; that is I.

Feel free to contact me about anything KBGA.  Seriously, anything!  Let’s make this year super tremendous.

ALLYSSA EIDE - BUSINESS MANAGER
email: business@kbga.org –
phone: 406.243.6290

Name is Allyssa and I’m a senior studying marketing and management. Born in California but Woodinville, Washington is my hometown. 21 years young, my favorite color is purple, and I love the rain.

I’m excited to be KBGAs business manager this year because I think the station has so much potential that I can’t wait to unleash!! Come hang out with me sometime.

SVEN ARNESON - UNDERWRITER
email:
underwriting@kbga.org
phone: 406.243.6750

Born in the flatland, Cheesehead state of Wisconsin, I came to Missoula, MT in search of freedom and mountains. Both I have found. Now, I spend my days galloping the many hiking trails around Missoula, and frollicking across the Big Sky State.

Give me some cool dubby reggae, a pint glass of an IPA, and some friends to converse with, and my day is made. I’m 22 and loving life.

DEREK MARTINEZ - OFFICE ASSISTANT
email: radio@kbga.org
phone: 406.243.6758

Since the beginning of time he’s been there, in the shadows snooping around in your dad’s dusty old record collection looking for that holy grail disc to stuff in his archive from the golden age leather. Big Billy is his name, and rock ‘n’ roll is his game. He also can be found watching the Montreal Canadians cycling the puck at your local sports bar. If you come to the station he’s the first one you’ll see, talk rock ‘n’ roll, and press the flesh. You won’t regret it.

MATT FREEMAN – PRODUCTIONS ENGINEER
email: productions@kbga.org
phone: 406.243.6758

Matt’s been searching out the tastiest of audio treats since he first started college, and been blasting what he finds on the KBGA airwaves since 2013. He’s a big fan of aural sex and awkward pauses. Host of The Electronic Music Show as well as a new super secret show unveiling summer 2014, Matt’s here to provide your ears with an audio feast.

If you need recordings of noises, that’s his passion. If you need noises cleaned and prepped for airplay that’s his job.
If you need life advice, you can ask him but it’s definitely not his job.

You should check out his website at www.themattfreeman.com

CONRAD SCHEID - NEWS DIRECTOR
email: news@kbga.org
phone: 406.243.6426

Conrad Scheid fell in love with radio listening to conservative talk shows with his dad all day every summer under the vast blue desert skies of central Oregon. It was a weird childhood. He’d now rather tune in to KBGA then Rush Limbaugh, but don’t hold that against him.  When he’s not worrying about how the Word of Mouth reporters are doing on their weekly assignments, he can be found biking to far-flung locations in the Five Valley region, or playing video games with the blinds down for 6 hour stretches. He’d love to hear what true stories you want told on the radio, and can be reached at news@kbga.org.

KYLE VERHOVSHEK – MUSIC DIRECTOR

CHRISTIAN MU – WEB CONTENT MANAGER
email: web@kbga.org
phone: 406.290.9113

While I prefer to make smiley faces like so :j, my favorite letter is capital R yet I find myself consumed by things that begin with C.
My car, computers, my dear cat Charlie, capsaicin and cream cheese (blueberry preferably with a bagel to match).
My existence is attempting difficult things I’ve never done before, troubleshooting and starting over.
Late Night Comedy (also with music) with Chemtrails is my radio show. Saturdays 12am – 2am.
Yep, I’d say that about sums it up.
